Hello Everyone!

I know announced this on Facebook…but thought I’d share with my bloggers (now that I have a new camera charger! Hubby lost the last one lol) that I am officially a Consultant for Close to my Heart! I know there are a lot of stamp companies out there but I really liked their lines and their stamps and the art philosophy Cricut Cartridge was the answer I was looking for

So here is an introductory video….my first experience and so on…I will say after watching the video I forgot something! The paper I received in the consultant package! You can go here to see the line I received.

Oh My! All I can say is do not…I repeat…do not get the 48 hour+ stomach bug that has been making its rounds here! I can’t even tell you how bad it is…and its aftermath lasts a lot longer than the initial sickness enough of that…

So I was supposed to announce two weeks ago the winner…and then life just got way to crazy…so here ya go….

Circle is a Round Shape…

Here is a drive by post. I have a lot going on over the next few days so I’m really hoping I still get a chance to post…but if not…do not fear I will be back…Monday

My mom requested a Birthday Card for a friend so this is what I came up with…

I do not have a gypsy….WAIT…I do now…well kind of…its on its way…lol but I always love shape cards! I found this shape card off of the Birthday Bash Cartridge. I love how it came out! I love the colors and the butterflies and the flowers and the twine and the button..I guess you could say I love it all!

I’m hoping to do a video next week! What would you like to see it on?!?!?

Valentines day is right around the corner. My friend Melissa came over with her husband Ben the other night. While the guys played Madden 2012 (my hubby received a PS3 for Christmas) Melissa and I crafted. She made a sweet Valentines day card for her hubby! Of course there was tons of texture, ink, twine, buttons and love put into it….

Here is the result…

I thought it came out super sweet. We saw a similar card like this on pinterest and it inspired us to create this one…love having friends who like to craft

How I’m storing my sample packs of Trendy Twine…

Well, I was trying to figure out the best way to store my trendy twine samples after I opened them all! I want to get spools or clothes pins but have to wait until payday…so this is what I’ve done so far…

Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures! I took them with my iphone! I LOVE my iphone just wish the camera was more awesome

How do you store your twine?!?!?! I love new ideas and inspiration! Please share your ideas!!!

What Twine means to me….

I still can’t get over my fast love for twine. I was first introduced to Trendy Twine by Michelle over at Scrappin with My bug on Facebook. For a while thats all I read about and I love me some bakers twine so I thought I’d check it out when we got a little extra money during Christmas. I received my package the week after Christmas and I was in instant love. Every project I have worked on I have made it a point to incorporate the twine….in one way or another….

Saturday morning I woke up with an idea. I know I had seen it floating around the internet months ago and I’ve seen it done in several ways…but this was my take on it

Wacky Wednesday Challenge: I {heart} You

Well, I’m back in my craftroom enjoying being creative…

I went in search of some challenges just to inspire me to create something…and of course my first blog to check Paula’s with More than Favors for her Wacky Wednesday Challenge.

I always enjoy her challenges since they inspire me to do something! lol

So this is what I came up with.

I know her’s was for a scrapbook layout but I just grabbed the middle of it and created from that….I really love how my card came out!

I love how the twine just goes with all the pink involved in this card! Twine has become one of my new favorite obsessions…its a good one to have I have to admit, the Twine from Trendy Twine is so fun and great quality! If you haven’t gotten some yet hurry today! They have a sale going on right now that ends tonight!

The stamp used here is from “Be Mine” stamp set over at Pink by Design! She has such fun stamp sets! Make sure you check out Sarah’s line!

I love seeing projects with pleating. I took a 1 inch strip of 12 inch paper and pleated it . I love how it turned out!

I know this card has a lot going on and to be honest…I never really make cards with this much going on but when you think of Valentines day or Love you just think of your heart always full of love and bursting with it

Heart Strings

I’M BACK!!! I’m finally back in the saddle of crafting. Where have I been? In May my husband graduated from college, was ordained into the ministry and a few days later we left for a 2 week vacation that we really needed. We returned to Michigan in June prepared for a conference that was in July. We then headed to North Carolina in July for a national conference. In August my husband and I started candidating for a church. We went to Connecticut to visit the church in August, in September we were called by the church and we accepted. We packed our house up, moved in October and have been settling in the last few months. So here I am…back in the crafting world. I’m overly excited since I do not have to work a “secular” job. So I get to focus on being a stay at home wife, build my crafting world and helping my husband in the ministry

So here is my first official project of the new year!

I have been introduced to Trendy Twine and I’m in LOVE! Everything I have been creating the last few days has had twine. So not only am I completely addicted to paper, ribbon, tule but now twine! So here is my first project! ENJOY!

The stamp is from Pink by Design, Be Mine. I thought this came out so cute!

Owl Be Yours….

I guess I’m in the lovey dovey mood when it comes to my cards lately….Spring is in the air…thats what it is!

I can’t get enough of this card…seriously….I am considering keeping it for myself and putting it in a frame….I love the colors and I love how my Owl turned out…
